JQ 10/29 It has been one year since Super Storm Sandy. What do you remember about the storm? What did you do while we were not in school? How long were you without power? etc
During the storm, everyone lost power and there were trees everywhere outside. It was dark, cold, and there was nowhere to go because there were trees in the road and gas was scarce. I only lost power for 24 hours but some of my friends lost power for 1 or 2 weeks. Although I had power, I still couldn't go anywhere for the 10 days we were out of school so I baked cookies and pumpkin bread and read a lot. A few of my friends came over to shower and watch TV since they were still without power for so long.
